Coach Responsibilities & Policies

Coaches using Sessioned are independent contractors and not employees, agents, or representatives of Sessioned.

Coaches control their own pricing, availability, services, training methods, and locations. Sessioned does not supervise, direct, or control how coaching services are provided.

By listing on Sessioned, coaches are responsible for:

• Conducting training safely and professionally
• Providing accurate profile information, including qualifications and experience
• Following all applicable local, state, and federal laws
• Maintaining any certifications they choose to advertise on their profile
• Acting professionally and respectfully with athletes and parents at all times

Sessioned does not provide insurance coverage for coaches.

Coaches are solely responsible for determining whether they need liability, professional, accident, or other insurance coverage for the services they offer. Sessioned strongly encourages coaches to obtain appropriate coverage.

Coaches are responsible for all federal, state, and local tax obligations related to income earned through Sessioned.

Sessioned may issue IRS Form 1099 to coaches who earn above applicable thresholds. Coaches should consult a tax professional with any questions.

Sessioned may suspend or remove coach accounts at any time for safety concerns, misconduct, fraud, policy violations, or behavior that may harm users or the platform.

Coaches agree to cooperate with any review process initiated by Sessioned.
